We will schedule a call with you to plan a commute with you and also see what bike friendly infrastructure is available. Our experienced guides use a range of tools to find a route which is most importantly safe, but also pleasant to ride along.

Our 2 main requirements are 1. somewhere safe to store the bike both at home and at work and 2. Routine credit check to ensure that we can keep our bike fleet available for as many people as possible.

Yes! You can book a test ride through our website. We have convenient locations in Wynyard, Circular Quay, and Barangaroo.

Unfortunately not. Our Ebikes are for personal use only. Providers better suited for delivery work include Zoomo or Sydney Electric Bikes.

A subscription gives you flexibility and includes the Ebike, maintenance, and accessories. You simply ride while we take care of the rest.

Yes. Glide Ebikes comply with Australian regulations for power output and motor assistance, making them fully road-legal and safe to ride in public areas.

You can charge the battery using a standard household power outlet. Charging takes about four hours. The battery can be charged while in the bike or removed to charge in a convenient location such as your kitchen.

It depends on your commute and riding style. Some riders go a whole week without charging, while others charge every second day.

Subscription riders are covered by our Rider Rescue roadside assistance program for breakdowns, flat tyres, or battery issues (including a taxi allowance up to $50). You can also pedal the bike manually if the battery is empty.

We keep it simple, 1 Ebike in two sizes: one for riders under 175 cm and another for those taller than 175 cm. This accommodates approximately 95% of riders comfortably.

Subscription insurance covers theft and damage, with a $2,000 excess when terms and conditions are met.

Many of our riders have not cycled for a very long time i.e. years. Our bikes are stable, comfortable, and easy to ride, with an upright seating position and step-through frame that make mounting and dismounting simple. They are easier to ride than traditional mountain or road bikes.

Yes, a $200 refundable security deposit is required. It acts as a bond and is fully returned when the bike and accessories are safely returned. Payment is due after your application is approved and before delivery.

For the purpose of keeping our Ebikes in as good condition as possible, we want you to take the same care as you would your own bike. This security deposit is like a down payment to cover so that you keep the Ebike in the same condition as you received it so it's good for the next rider!

Normal wear and tear is expected. Bikes and accessories should be safe, functional, and ready for the next rider. Return all items (lock, keys, charger), ensure there’s no major damage, rust, or missing parts, and confirm brakes, cables, and electronics work properly. Contact our team if unsure.

We aim to return your full deposit, but deductions may apply if there’s damage beyond normal use or outstanding payments. We always discuss any issues with you first.

No. You can remain on a subscription indefinitely or switch to ownership whenever you're ready.

Per NSW regulations pedal assistance is capped at 25 km/h, in line with Australian Ebike regulations. You can ride faster using your own pedalling or downhill momentum.

Yes! Glide Ebikes are weather-resistant and can be ridden in the rain

If you buy during the first full-price rental period, all payments (except trial fees) are credited 1:1. After that, payments are credited 1:2 toward ownership.

Yes, per NSW regulations Ebikes are allowed on trains, with only the bikes with conversion kits banned at this point in time.

The cost per week for an Ebike rental + accessories is $45.

Minimum term is 4 weeks - unsubscribe anytime by giving us 28 days notice.
